It's been ages since it was originally announced, but the NoteSlate monochrome drawing tablet hasn't been put into production yet.
I imagine there are a number of people like myself, who would really like a simple on-screen drawing tablet but feel something like the iPad (or an Android equivalent) is just too much. I don't need a full-fledged OS, and don't want the finger-calibrated touchscreen. I just want to draw.
The official Twitter and Facebook accounts indicate hope, if also trouble. Fingers crossed…
